    What this machine is

Gallus Lab is an interactive hypothesis machine. It uses 380 leaky integrate-and-fire units arranged into six populations named after broad avian neural systems.

The region roles are biologically inspired; the unit count, exact wiring, learning rule, and behavioral mappings are synthetic. A result here can teach you about network dynamics. It cannot establish what a real chicken thinks, feels, or will do.

Useful forSpiking-network experiments, control logic, signal routing, emergent-pattern play
Not proof ofChicken cognition, consciousness, neuroanatomical fidelity, or poultry prophecy
